As I started to settle into my role as a leader at a not-for-profit organisation a condition came where it seemed it was time to look at my career again. While my situation seemed a lot clearer, the solution did not. Time to contact my support network. They had in fact offered and I figured it was now time to take up that offer, rather than waiting until I had been in this leadership role for a month or two. My former supervisor a few years ago made an interesting analogy with a 'wobbly jelly on a plate' - often multiple projects have to be progressed at the same time because they are inter-related. Now, that seems to be much clearer.

Really powerful and simple words "Sometimes we just have to put our pride aside and ask for help." 💓
