Today I took the minutes for a team meeting. We were able to honestly share where we were at at a very personal level and how to grow from here. While we are not perfect, we recognised it and we were able to self reflect as well as discuss each other. We even managed to decide upon an action plan for improvement of both the service we deliver and ourselves. In particular, a visitor from Europe was able to offer sage advice, which we were able to accept with gratitude.
It is possible to reach this level of openness in a team meeting with a self reflection method able to remove the root cause of our anxiety with other people - pictures stored in our own minds.
